Apex Comics 1.8.0: Premium stats that feel worth it

1.8.0 ships Premium Moments (pin pages and jump back from the library), a richer Stats hub, tablet-ready reader controls, and a major upgrade to Guided View: out of beta, with sharper on-device panel detection.

Guided View (Premium) — out of beta

• Guided View is now a full Premium feature
• New on-device panel detector for more accurate panel-by-panel reading
• Works fully offline, no cloud required
• Especially stronger on dense manga pages; comics and graphic novels benefit too
• Same Guided experience: tap through panels, peek the full page, split wide strips when enabled

Moments (Premium)

• Save a Moment from the reader menu
• Library Moments rail + full gallery with page thumbnails
• Soft keep when a comic file is removed (Moment stays, marked unavailable)

Arrivals showcase

• Premium rail under library stats for recently added, unread comics
• New badge on covers elsewhere in the library
• Toggle in Settings → Library (on by default); disappears when empty or after you start reading

Activity charts

• Weekday bar chart (Mon–Sun)
• 12-week trend with scrub for minutes and pages
• Existing heatmap and hourly charts kept sharp and interactive

Library & profile

• Donut for library progress and collection health
• Jump from Stats to incomplete series in the library
• Top writers, artists, and genres from enriched metadata
• Enrichment ratio in the sync footer

Engagement

• Year-in-comics recap (calendar year)
• One weekly goal: pages or hours
• Quiet milestones on verified totals (no badge spam)

Tablet-ready page controls

• Custom tap zones (balanced, narrow edges, wide edges, edge only)
• Volume keys to turn pages (RTL-aware)
• Page-turn animation: instant, slide, or fade, with speed control
• On large landscape screens: one-tap hint for two-page spread + narrow edges
